What is Dante?

Dante is a  digitally networked audio distribution system which utilizes audio over ethernet technology.  It is simple to configure, sends and receives quality digital audio signal and transmits it in real time.

With their own IP addresses Dante featured equipment can be setup with even the most inexpensive router and a 1Gb network can send and receive 512 channels total of 24-bit, 48kHz audio!

What can we use Dante for?

You can use Cat5 or Cat6 cables
up to 100 meters in length to make control surfaces “talk” such as a monitor mixer and your front of house console.  Share control data and your word clock across Dante enabled broadcast and recording equipment and do it all with extremely low latency.
