The FEYA awards at the Calgary Golf and Country Club

We joined Debbie Van Camp the curator of the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise‘s FEYA event at the Calgary Golf and Country Club.

The event “celebrates the contribution of family business to Canada’s culture and economy!” by providing them with awards at this annual gala.

This year two of the three finalists had a video professionally produced by
Rob Ing Productions.  He did a wonderful job.  The content was very touching and consequently we wanted to ensure that the audience had no trouble viewing the videos at a multitude of angles.

We provided four sixty inch televisions and projected power point presentations and videos onto two eight foot projector screens.  Each visual element was fed from a 6 output video splitter.  We controlled the source of the image with an HD Roland mixer which allowed us to seamlessly jump from one form of media to the other on our laptop while fading smoothly to black.  The audience only experienced the visual content and was never privy to the under workings taking place on our computers desktop.

This small detail produced a professional audio visual experience and we were happy to have help the audience celebrate the successes of the honored family based businesses.
