Calgary's Sled Island Festival Presents Quintron and Miss Pussy Cat at Tubby Dog

I had the honor of mixing Quintron and Miss Pussy Cat at Tubby Dog here in Calgary on July 3rd during the sled island festival. It was quite a show.

There was not much equipment to work with only two QSC hpr121i available so I had to make use of some passive yorkville speakers.

Luckily the group brought two Lesly cabinets which annihilated the hot dog venue with thundering bass and ear piercing high-mids.

The whole venue was dancing and everything was sounding great when the circuit breaker flipped. After unplugging some unnecessary speakers and swapping out a power bar we were back and badder than ever. In a way I felt the fear of another abrupt stop added emotional impact to the show.
