Carol of The Belles 2015

Once again we have helped to put on one of our favorite shows, Carol of the Belles, at the Mamdani Opera Centre.

The show benefited the Wiseguyz program put on by the Calgary Sexual Health Centre which “addresses the issues young men face and gives them tools to engage in healthy relationships”.

For this event we brought in nine QSC two way speakers and two eighteen inch sub woofers to support an extremely talented backing band and ten duets who performed covers of traditional holiday songs.

We recorded a stereo mix of this event straight to a USB effortlessly with our Midas m32r digital mixing console.  Here is one of the recorded tracks from the event featuring my wife Aimee-Jo Benoit and Chris Nevile.  Please stick with the track until around fifty four seconds to hear the fantastic backing band for the night.

What a pleasure it was to see the families coming together to celebrate the season at this event once again and kudos to the organizers; Johanna Schwartz, Kenna Burima, Tara Sukut, Talia Potter, Melanie Katherine and all of the volunteers who did such a lovely job in planning crafting tables for the kids, organizing Village Brewery for the adults :), in booking such a beautiful space and for providing amazing musical talent for the day.

My hope is that the recordings for the full event will be available to download with the proceeds going somewhere nice.  We shall keep you posted.
