Psychic Medium at MacEwan Hall

 

Never before had I worked with a psychic medium, so I was excited for this event at MacEwan hall in the main ballroom.  We brought out two 8’X6′ Screens with rear projection material, stage lighting, a sound system, pipe and drape and some décor.

We also provided two follow spot lights to illuminate the psychic and the attendee with whom’s ancestors the psychic would be communicating with.

One challenge for this event was to get the attendees voice loud enough in the mix so that everyone could hear as they were often shy and would hold the microphone close to their mid section as opposed to near their mouth.  To overcome this we used compression and make up gain as well as some serious equalization so that the microphones were impervious to feedback.
